CORE Knee Specialists

About Knee Care

If you are living with chronic knee pain, we can help. At CORE, our orthopaedic knee experts take a multidisciplinary approach to treating a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ligament or muscle damage
  • Cartilage erosion
  • Bursitis
  • ACL or MCL injuries

We will diagnose your condition and devise a treatment plan that may first include nonsurgical options such as rest, physical therapy, injections or over-the-counter medications to relieve pain and inflammation. But if your symptoms persist or get worse, surgical intervention or even a total knee replacement may be the best option.

Experts in Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques

At CORE, we specialize in minimally invasive surgical techniques that decrease pain and recovery time. Most of our procedures are laparoscopic and/or use robotic capabilities, resulting in smaller incisions, minimal blood loss and reduced scarring.

Types of surgical procedures for the knee include:

  • Diagnostic exploration
  • Meniscus repair
  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction
  • Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction

Advanced Care For Knee Replacement

Our surgeons perform both total and partial knee replacements using computer-assisted navigation and robotics. These techniques allow for precise cuts and placement of the prosthesis resulting in better outcomes for our patients.

MAKOplasty® Partial Knee Replacement

MAKOplasty® partial knee resurfacing is a minimally invasive procedure suitable for patients suffering with painful early to mid-stage osteoarthritis of the knee. It is performed using the surgeon-controlled RIO® robotic arm system and offers more accurate resurfacing of the diseased portion of the knee, saving as much of the original knee as possible.
